About Us
I graduated Cum Laude from John Marshall Law School.  I have been practicing law since 1996.  I am licensed to practice law in Texas and Georgia.  My primary focus for the past 13 years has been the practice of Criminal Law.  I am a former prosecutor (in Texas and Georgia), so I know how the other side thinks.  I am very proud to defend my clients in all misdemeanors, all felonies and federal cases.  I also assist my clients in sealing and expunging their criminal records.  My assistant is Lottie J. Williams.  She can answer general/non-legal questions and most financial questions.  My office number is answered by a live person 24 hours, 7 days a week (see numbers and address below).
Not every client can pay $10,000.00 up front and not every client qualifies for appointed counsel.  I am extremely proud that I offer payment arrangements that fill the void between those who can pay high fees and those that qualify for appointed counsel.  I am here to help the middle man!  I offer reasonable retainers and split fee agreements where appropriate.  Some cases are so serious that they require retainers.  Others can be paid on a split fee basis.  Split fees allow my clients to pay smaller fees prior to any trial setting.  Once trial is set, a trial fee is assessed.  In all cases, I subtract the smaller fees paid (except bond reduction hearings and motions to suppress) from the trial fee.  This provides a built in PAYMENT PLAN for all of my clients.  All trial fees are disclosed once I've had a fair opportunity to review the alleged evidence in your case, this usually happens on your first court appearance.  I will consider the difficulty of your case and estimate the length of time of your trial to determine a trial fee.  The benefit to split fee agreements is that if your case is resolved early, you will pay less attorney's fees.  When high retainers are paid and the case settles early, you simply lose your money.  Split fee agreements allow you to pay as you go and minimize your costs.  All of the terms of our attorney/client agreement will be put into a contract.  We also accept most credit cards for your convenience.
I would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best possible legal defense for a reasonable and affordable fee.
